new toys...

Been trying out my new gadgets recently - a 10-20 mm wide angle and an 18-200 mm Sigma lens for my Nikon Camera which I got from Hongkong and so far have been really enjoyning how improved my photos were especially for the wide angle ones.

This is a shoot I did yesterday for a client - the Pacific Hotel.

These have been shot in very close range but the wide angle lens captured them from end to end. Normally, with my old Nikkor lenses, I had to do a composite of 2 to 3 photos and merge them together to create a good panoramic photo from close range, but the wide angle solves everything!

With these two lenses on hand, I don't have to bundle myself with too much variations of lenses for shoots and for photographic journeys.
Here I come, planet earth!

Hey kiks! If it were Don, of course, he'd push for a sewing machine, but take it from me... a camera is waaaayy better! hehehe... sige na, have a holiday here in siem reap... kami ang bahala!

@roneiluke: thanks! i've contributed some photos on glossies, but not on a regular basis. my photography is primarily for my artworks but i do take on commercial work to "bring food on the table"...

Nice gadgets kuya Joven. Must be expensive. The pictures are more crisp and the angles are really better. Syempre, its just a gadget. It will still depend on the skill of the one who is manipulating it. You got that skill syempre. Gud investment, gud investment....

Anton, they are not that expensive... I got them second hand from a photographer friend in HK!
